THE word

Howdy everyone,

The latest updates are as follows:

Improved slideshow (new pics and music)

2 NEW PHOTO ALBUMS (Obstacle Course and outfit service project)

 Hope everyone enjoys.

For parents, outfit pictures will be this Sunday, so start asking your sons and daughters about ordering pictures in the next couple of weeks if you are interested in getting single, class, or outfit photos.

This weekend we held an outfit service project for Al Bradley, more commonly known as Ol’ Army Al, who watches formations every day, and has become a good friend to a lot of us.  He needed some yardwork done, so we brought the cavalry and cleaned his house and yard up.  See photo albums for pictures.

Please let me know if you have any questions,

Howdy all,

Hope everyone is doing well.  This is just a final reminder of the Alumni reunion BBQ coming up this weekend.  If you have not already filled out a registration and mailed it in, please take the one I have attached, fill it out electronically using a credit card number, and email it back to me.

This is how I am handling all of these late cases, but I would like to stress that if we have a lot of people show up at the last minute, it will nullify any and all planning we have made in terms of seating, food, etc., so please make every effort to turn your registrations in ASAP.

If you are uncomfortable emailing a document with your credit card number, please email the filled out form and bring a check with you this weekend, but I would prefer the former; using the credit card number is much easier on both us and the CCA (Corps of Cadets Association), who is doing a lot to help us out.

Any parents, if you have not already done so, please fill out and turn in your registrations in the same manner as described above.  You DO NOT have to pay for outfit members.

In other news, for the midterm grades in the corps, our outfit placed 4th in the corps, which is great.  We are the top technical outfit in the corps, and being 4th, beat out the majority of the non-technical outfits also.  In terms of grades, parents should be very proud.

Directions to Sue Haswell Park where the BBQ will be held can be found by following THIS LINK

Directions to Alfred T. Hornback’s pool hall where we will be hanging out before midnight yell Friday can be found by following THIS LINK

The memo for this weekend’s March-In is also attached.

I would like to encourage everyone to visit the alumni website and register for the discussion forums, using the following link: http://squadron8.aggienetwork.com/phpbb/profile.php?mode=register

Full instructions for the registration process can be found here:

http://squadron8.aggienetwork.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=4

You can post or read past stories or discuss with anyone else who is online.  I would like to see a good amount of people register…it is a great interactive community.

Registration takes about three minutes and its good bull.

I apologize for not updating the website; we are amidst a technical crisis with the university and working to try and straighten it out.  I am still able to post pictures though, so keep checking for picture updates under the “photo album” tab here:

Please let me know if any of you have any questions

Thank you,
